Why is my Mac App Store game not launching?
Some users running OS X 10.10 Yosemite and 10.11 El Capitan may find that their Mac App Store game fails to launch or crashes after clicking the Play button in the pre-game Options window. Logging into Game Center usually resolves this problem.
If you find that your game does not launch, or crashes immediately after launch, please try the following:
Open the Game Center application.
Once in Game Center, log in using your Apple ID. You will be prompted to create a Game Center account if you do not already have one.
Once logged in, launch the game again.
If you find that you are still experiencing issues after logging in to Game Center, please try the following:
Open the Game Center application.
Once in Game Center, select Account → Settings from the menu bar.
The Account Settings window will appear. Disable the Nearby Players box.
Close the Account Settings window and launch the game again.
If the above steps fail to resolve the problem, please contact Feral's support team at support@feralinteractive.com.
