Can I sync my Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing save games using iCloud?

Yes.

In order to sync your game to iCloud, you first need to make sure that you are signed into iCloud and that you have enabled syncing of your Documents & Data storage space. To do this:

  1. Open System Preferences ( Menu → System Preferences).

  2. Click on iCloud.

  3. If you are not already signed into iCloud, you will be asked to sign in. Enter your Apple ID and Password, then click Sign in.

  4. Once you are signed in, you will be taken to the iCloud panel. Ensure the Documents & Data checkbox is checked.

  5. Close the System Preferences window.

You will remain signed into iCloud until you sign out, even if you switch off your Mac.

The process of syncing your Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing save games using iCloud is slightly different depending on whether or not this is the first time you have played the game on your Mac.

If this is the first time you have launched the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing application:

  1. Double-click on the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing application icon.

  2. A dialogue box will appear asking if you wish to sync your save games via iCloud. Click the Sync button.

  3. The dialogue box will disappear and you will be taken to the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing pre-game Options window.

  4. Click the Play button to start playing. Your game progress will be synced to iCloud.

If this is not the first time you have launched the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing application:

  1. Double-click on the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing application icon while holding the Command (⌘) key down. The Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing pre-game Options window will appear.

  2. Select the Extras tab.

  3. Check the Sync saved games via iCloud checkbox.

  4. Click the Play button to start playing. Your game progress will be synced to iCloud.

To cancel iCloud syncing of your Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing save games at any point:

  1. Double-click on the Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing application icon while holding the Command (⌘) key down. The Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing pre-game Options window will appear.

  2. Select the Extras tab.

  3. Uncheck the Sync saved games via iCloud checkbox.

  4. CLick the Play button to start playing. Your game progress will no longer be synced to iCloud.
