How does a second player join the game?

How a second person joins the game depends on whether they are using a gamepad or a keyboard.

Joining using a gamepad

Before starting the game, make sure the gamepad is connected to your computer. Press any button on the gamepad during play to activate Player 2. The character icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen will flash.

If this does not work, follow these steps:

1. Pause the game during play and select Options.

2. From the Options menu, select Control Setup.

3. In the Control Setup menu, highlight the right side of the screen under the heading Player 2 and select Change Device.

4. Press any button on Player 2's gamepad. A list of the gamepad's buttons should now appear on the right hand side of the screen.

5. Select Accept. Player 2's gamepad will now be activated.

6. Select Back and then Resume to return to the game.

Joining using a keyboard

Press the F2 key during play to activate Player 2. The character icon in the top right-hand of the screen will flash.

If this does not work, follow these steps:

1. Pause the game during play and select Options.

2. From the Options menu, select Control Setup.

3. In the Control Setup menu, highlight the right side of the screen under the heading Player 2 and select Change Device.

4. Press any key on the keyboard. The keyboard controls should now appear on the right hand side of the screen.

5. Select Accept. Player 2's keyboard controls will now be activated.

6. Select Back and then Resume to return to the game.
