Can I change the graphics settings?

Graphics settings are tuned per-device for a balance between performance, visuals and battery life, and it is not possible to change individual graphics settings. However, you may change the Graphics Preset by selecting Options → Video → Graphics Preset from the Main or Pause Menu. The following presets are available on all devices:

• Graphics: Offers the best visuals for your device. This is the default setting.
• Battery Saver: Lowers graphical quality to reduce power consumption. This can also alleviate performance issues experienced due to overheating.

On high-end devices, a Performance preset is also available which slightly reduces graphical quality in favour of a higher framerate.

The Performance preset is only available on the following devices:

• iPhone XS and later
• iPhone SE (2nd Generation, 2020)
• iPad mini 5 and later
• iPad Air 3 and later
• iPad 8 and later
• All iPad Pros released since 2018
