Can I play my game on a Mac with Apple silicon?
Thanks to Rosetta 2, most Feral games run well on Macs with Apple silicon. Rosetta 2 is a translation layer built into macOS that allows apps developed for older Macs with Intel processors to run on the latest Macs with Apple silicon.
Our aim is that new Feral releases will, where possible, include native support for Apple silicon, as well as continuing to be playable on older, Intel-based Macs. Our goal is to accommodate as many Mac gamers as possible for as long as it is technically feasible and commercially viable.
The following games have been tested and run on Apple silicon without issue:
- A Total War Saga: FALL OF THE SAMURAI
- A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA
- A Total War Saga: TROY
