Does the game support iCloud saves?

Yes. The game syncs save games and character pools automatically to your iCloud account. Wait a few minutes after syncing before attempting to load a cloud save on a different device.

Saves and character pools are located in the Files app under Locations → iCloud Drive → XCOM 2, in respective saves and characterpools folders.
