Known issue — screen rotation may obscure interface

In XCOM 2, screen orientation is locked to avoid obscuring the interface behind the camera notch. To play XCOM 2, the device must be held with the camera notch to the right.

There is a known issue where this restriction is bypassed when using iOS 16 on devices with camera notches, resulting in the possibility of some interface elements being obscured.
