How do I use my iTunes Music Library in the game?
When in post production you can edit the soundtrack for the movie. On the Mac the list of background music is greatly increased with built in iTunes support. This means that you can use any of the files from your iTunes Music Library to create a professional sounding score. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Take a completed film and drag it to the Post Production building.
- Click on the Advanced Features button in the bottom left of the screen.
- You should see the timeline and below it four strips, Subtitles, Music, Sound effects and Voiceover.
- Place your mouse over the Music timeline until the timeline highlights in a light blue shade. Click once (if you already have a track selected you might have to drag the track to one side so you can click on an open section of the timeline).
- The Select Music Track window will appear. At the top of this list, you will see the same folder layout as inside your iTunes Music Library. You can browse through the playlists and select almost any song in your iTunes Music Library.
REMEMBER: You cannot upload any movies with copyrighted music to YouTube. Please take this into consideration when making a movie you might wish to upload to YouTube.
