What do the advanced control options do?
The advanced control options allow you to adjust the way GRID™ Autosport processes input from your steering wheel.
The options are found under Options & Extras → Options → Controls → Advanced Options, accessible from the Main Menu:
Steering Deadzone – adjusts the size of the non-responsive “dead” area around the centre of your wheel’s rotation; movements within this area will not cause the car to turn. Increase this setting to give you more "play" around the centre of the wheel.
Steering Saturation – adjusts the sensitivity of the wheel. Increase this setting to reduce the amount you have to rotate the wheel to turn the car a given amount (this is especially useful if you have 900˚ rotation enabled).
Steering Linearity – with linearity set to 0%, the in-game steering will respond consistently throughout the full turning arc of the wheel. Increasing this setting reduces the sensitivity of the wheel at the center of its turning arc and increases it at the edges (this is especially useful for 240˚ and 270˚ rotation wheels).
Throttle Deadzone – adjusts the size of the non-responsive "dead" area at the top of the accelerator pedal's movement; movements within this area will not cause the car to accelerate. Increase this setting to give you more "play" around the top of the pedal.
Throttle Saturation – adjusts the sensitivity of the throttle. Increase this setting to reduce the amount you have to depress the accelerator pedal in order to achieve a given amount of acceleration.
Brake Deadzone – adjusts the size of the non-responsive "dead" area at the top of the brake pedal's movement; movements within this area will not cause the car to brake. Increase this setting to give you more "play" around the top of the pedal.
Brake Saturation – adjusts the sensitivity of the brake. Increase this setting to reduce the amount you have to depress the brake pedal in order to achieve a given amount of braking.
Interior Steering Wheel – determines whether a steering wheel is visible inside your car when racing in cockpit view.
