How do I choose which augmentations to purchase?
The best augmentations to spend your Praxis kits (awarded by earning XP points) on are the ones that suit your preferred style of play. Although we recommend playing the game to find out what aspects you like, there are some sets of augmentations that work well together.
If you like exploring, you'll want augmentations that help you unlock doors, read secret e-mails and find hard-to-reach places. Try Hacking Capture to help you bypass electronic locks, the Cybernetic Arm Prosthesis to help you lift heavy objects that block your path and the Icarus Landing System to enable you to fall from any height without injury.
If you want to take the stealthy approach, the Cloaking System is invaluable, as it will make you completely invisible for a short period of time. You might also want to try the Cybernetic Leg Prosthesis, which lets you move silently, and Smart Vision, which lets you see through walls.
If you prefer a straight fight, you'll want to protect yourself from bullets with the Dermal Armor while arming yourself with the Typhoon Explosive System, which sends out a 360° shockwave of ball bearings, taking out everything in its path.
