In the app settings for ROME: Total War, you can change the Unit Size from Recommended to Larger, which will double the Unit Size for your device.
To change the Unit Size setting, follow the steps below. Please note: changing from Recommended to Larger will impact the game's performance. It is a purely cosmetic setting, and does not grant you any more units in battle. For the best experience, we recommend that you do not change this setting.
- From your Home screen, open the Settings app.
- Navigate to ROME: Total War.
- Under Advanced, select Unit Size.
- Select Larger - Reduces Performance in 3D Battles.
- Close the Settings app and relaunch ROME: Total War.
Note: It is not possible to increase the Unit Size on devices listed in the 160 column, as these devices are set to Larger by default. You can, however, change to Recommended on these devices for improved performance.
