  1. Installation

    As part of the Steam download process, the game has already been installed on your computer. To start playing the game, read the Getting Started section.

  2. Getting Started

    1. Double-click on the Steam application icon. By default this is located in the Applications folder on your computer's hard drive.

    2. If you are not already signed in, the Steam Login dialog will appear. Enter your account name and password, then select Login.

    3. The Steam application will launch. Select the Library tab.

    4. In the library, highlight The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame in the list of games on the left-hand side of the window, then select Play.

    5. The The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame pre-game Options window will appear. Click on the Play button. The game will launch.

    6. After the loading screens, the Main Menu will appear. Select New Game.

    7. The Select Save File screen will appear. Select an empty slot, then select Yes to confirm.

    8. A message will appear confirming that the game will be saved automatically to this slot. Select OK.

    9. After the opening cutscene, you'll find yourself in Apocalypseburg – all that remains of what was once Bricksburg. You've had your first cup of coffee of the day, and it's time to find Lucy...

    OS: macOS 10.14
    Graphics: 1GB Nvidia 650M, 2GB AMD Radeon M290, Intel Iris Pro 5200 or better.
    Processor: 1.6Ghz Intel Core i5 or better
    RAM: 8GB
    Storage: 8GB

    The game is supported on the following Macs. To check your Mac model and when it was released, select 'About This Mac' from the Apple Menu on your menu bar.

    The following Macs are capable of running the game but do not consistently meet the standards required for official support.

  4. Uninstalling

    To uninstall The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame, follow these steps:

    1. Double-click on the Steam application icon. By default this is located in the Applications folder on your computer's hard drive.

    2. If you are not already signed in, the Steam Login dialog will appear. Enter your account name and password, then select Login.

    3. The Steam application will launch. Select the Library tab.

    4. In the library, right-click on The LEGO® Movie 2 Videogame in the list of games on the left-hand side of the window, then select Uninstall....

    5. A dialog will appear confirming that you wish to delete all the game content. Select Delete.

    Every effort has been made to make The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame as compatible with current hardware as possible. However, if you are experiencing problems when running The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame, please read on.

    All the information required can be obtained by opening The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame and clicking on the Support tab in the The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame pre-game Options window. In the Support tab, click on the Generate Report button. Once the report is generated it will appear as a file in your ~/Downloads folder (the “~” symbol refers to your home directory). Now click on the Create Email button. Remember to attach the The LEGO Movie 2 Report.txt file to your email.

    In your email, please include a brief description of the problem you have experienced with The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame.
