  2. GRID Autosport for mobile slows down after I have been playing for a while, what can I do to avoid this?

GRID Autosport for mobile is a graphically intensive game that demands a lot of your device’s processing power; electronic devices get warm when they work hard and will start to slow down. There are a couple of ways to avoid this happening:

    1. Try to avoid charging while playing, because charging also generates heat.

    2. Some device cases, especially those made of rubber or neoprene, can also cause your device to retain heat. If you are planning on an extended play session, consider removing the case.

If your device does slow down, a short break should allow it to recover.

  6. What control methods are available in GRID Autosport for mobile?

There are three different control methods in GRID Autosport for mobile. You can change your control method at any time by selecting Controls from the Pause menu (also accessible from the Main menu under Options & Extras).

When selecting your control method, select Show Controls to see the full control layout (including how to use the handbrake and team orders).

    Tilt
Tilt controls are enabled by default. When using Tilt controls, you hold down on the right side of the screen to accelerate, hold down on the left side of the screen to brake, and steer by tilting your device left and right.

The Tilt Pro controls are more sensitive but allow for more precise handling. Alternatively, you can fine-tune the Tilt controls to your liking by selecting Customise Controls; your settings are then saved under the Tilt (Custom) option.

You can also enable Mirrored Mode, which reverses the position of the accelerate and brake controls.

    Wheel Touch
Wheel Touch controls add an on-screen steering wheel to the game. When using Wheel Touch controls, you hold down on the lower-right side of the screen to accelerate, hold down on the upper-right side of the screen to brake, and steer by rotating the steering wheel on the left (this appears when you hold down on the left side of the screen).

The Wheel Touch Pro controls are more sensitive but allow for more precise handling. Alternatively, you can fine-tune the Wheel Touch controls to your liking by selecting Customise Controls; your settings are then saved under the Wheel Touch (Custom) option.

You can also enable Mirrored Mode, which reverses the position of the steering wheel and the accelerate/brake controls.

    Arrow Touch
Arrow Touch controls add arrow buttons to the left and right of your screen. When using Arrow Touch controls, your car accelerates automatically; hold down anywhere on your screen to brake, and steer using the left and right arrows. Arrow Touch controls are only available in Rookie and Professional difficulty settings, and can only be used with Automatic transmission enabled. You can fine-tune the Arrow Touch controls to your liking by selecting Customise Controls; your settings are then saved under the Arrow Touch (Custom) option.

Alternatively, Arrow Touch Pro controls enable manual throttle control by moving both steering arrows to the left of the screen, and adding a Throttle Slider to the right side.

    Auto-accelerate
Auto-accelerate is enabled by default for standard Arrow Touch controls and cannot be disabled.

If you are playing on the Rookie or Professional difficulty settings, you can enable auto-acceleration for Tilt or Wheel Touch controls from the main Controls menu.

    Throttle Slider

The Throttle Slider allows for analogue control of speed. Drag the slider up and down to adjust throttle levels and release it to immediately reduce throttle to zero.

The Throttle Slider is available for use with all control schemes except standard Arrow Touch, and may be fine-tuned by selecting Customise Controls.

On lower difficulty levels, you can enable Manual transmission by selecting Difficulty LevelCustom DifficultyTransmission from the Pause menu (also accessible from the Main menu under Options & Extras). Wheel Touch
If you are using Wheel Touch controls, you shift gears by gently nudging the top of your device away from or towards you. Nudge the device away from you to shift up a gear, and nudge the device towards you to shift down a gear.

  12. Why can’t I back up saves via Google Play Saved Games?

Google Play Saved Games imposes a 3MB file size limit for all backups.

Due to the size and sophistication of Feral’s releases, save files often exceed this. We cannot support Google Play Saved Games until this limit is lifted (or significantly increased).

All Feral games use Google Drive for save backup. Google Drive can accommodate the larger files required and offers users easy access to their saves.
