How do I change the language the game runs in?

By default, the game will run in the same language as your OS. However, if you wish to play in a different language, you can change it using the Tropico 4: Gold Edition pre-game Options window.

To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Double-click on the Tropico 4: Gold Edition Application icon. The Tropico 4: Gold Edition pre-game Options window will appear.

2. Select the Advanced tab.

3. Select your preferred language from the Language drop-down menu. The available languages are Deutsch, English, Español, Français and Italiano.

4. Click the Play button. A dialog box will appear to inform you that the application has to be relaunched. Click the Relaunch button.

5. When the Tropico 4: Gold Edition pre-game Options window appears again, click the Play button to launch the game.
